The Cognitive NeuroLab is a cognitive neuroscience research laboratory within the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). It is recognized by the Agency for Administration of Universities and Research of Catalonia (Spain) (AGAUR, 2017 SGR 273).
We use non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (NIBS) to study the neural mechanisms underlying human cognitive processes (such as cognitive control, working memory and executive functions) and its potential use for improvement and rehabilitation of cognitive functions in acquired brain damage and in neurodegenerative diseases.
Our lab is equipped with all the technical resources necessary for the optimal implementation of TMS and tDCS projects (see Techniques).
