Diego Redolar-Ripoll is PhD in Neuroscience from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) (2003) and Master in Statistics in Health Science (2008) from the same university. He has worked at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Spanish distance learning university, UNED, since October 1997. Now he is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Science of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), where he teach Biological Psychology and Neuroscience in different degrees.
He has considerable research experience in the study of cognitive functions using brain stimulation techniques on animals and humans. Specifically, his field of research has focused on the study of the neural bases of learning, memory and cognitive control, based on the modulation of brain excitability through invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques.
